Two Days Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics”
Dept of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Computer science and Engineering & Electronics & Communication Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management, Belagavi organized a Two Days Symposium on “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics “on 24th and 25th June 2022.
The Symposium started on 24th June at 10.30 am with an inauguration function presided by Member of Parliament and Chairperson of Suresh Angadi Education Foundation , Smt. Mangal Suresh Angadi.
The chief guest of the inauguration function was Dr. B. E. Rangaswamy, Registrar Evaluation (VTU) who addressed the audience about the importance of AI and Robotics in today’s era.
The function was presided by Guest of Honor, Dr Kavi Mahesh, Director, IIIT Dharwad, Dr Spoorti Patil, Director, SAEF, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal and Director of AITM and Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Event Coordinator. Master of Ceremony was Prof. Priyanka Pujari, Asst prof, CSE dept.
The opening keynote Speaker of the Symposium was Dr Kavi Mahesh, Director, IIIT Dharwad. Sir explained the key concepts In Artificial Intelligence, its origin with its applications and examples.
A session on AI and Robotics in Automobile applications was conducted by Mr. Aravindraj. A, Manager, Vehicle Attribute Engineering, Horiba Pvt India Ltd, Pune explaining the concept of self-driving cars and the importance of AI in vehicular technologies.
A session on AI – Present and Future was conducted by Mr. Ajay Kabadi, Founder and CEO , Docketrun tech pvt Ltd, Hubli on 25th June. The session included explanation of present applications of AI with interesting videos of the current scenario. The session also concentrated on what will be the future of AI.
There were total 153 participants registered for the Symposium. The symposium ended with a Valedictory Function. Certificates were distributed to the participants by the Head of Electronics Dept, Prof Raviraj Chougala and Head of CSE dept Prof. Sagar Birje. Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Event Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks.
