- Users are required to show their ID cards while entering the library and entering their details in the gate register is compulsory.
- Users are requested to leave their bags, handbags and personal belongings etc. on the Property Counter. Do not keep any valuables at property counter as the Knowledge Centre staff will not be responsible for the losses.
- Each Student shall be permitted to borrow 6 Books for a period of 15 Days. If needed further, once again it can be renewed through on-line. Faculties can borrow 10 books for entire semester.
- Borrowed books are to be returned or renewed on the due date, failing which the students are liable to pay a fine of Rs.2 per book per day beyond the due date.
- Users who do not abide by the above rules shall be suspended from the use of Knowledge Center till the books are returned in good condition and necessary fines to be paid.
- Reference Books & Periodicals are reference materials can be referred in Knowledge Centre only.
- CD/DVDs, Periodical (Back Volumes) will be issued for 1 day.
- Any document taken out of the knowledge Center should be shown to the Library staff, before being taken out.
- Books marked or written with ink or pencil, tearing of pages or defilement in any other form will be viewed seriously and the borrower shall be penalized.
- Books lost by the borrowers will be informed immediately in writing to the librarian, failing which liable for heavy penalty.
- Refreshments or foodstuff and beverages of any kind will not be allowed inside the Knowledge Center.
- The librarian has the authority to recall a book at any time before its due date, if necessary. He may also increase the overdue charges for reserved or recalled books.
- Use of Mobile phones is banned in the knowledge Center, anybody found using phones will be seized and it will not be returned.
- All Knowledge Centre members are informed to go through the notice board for latest information and other updates.
