About
Alumni Cell is committed to building a close-knit network that helps students form lifelong bonds with their alma mater. The overall goal of the cell is to connect, inform and engage alumni, students and the institution to create multifaceted support for AITM.
Objectives:
- To encourage and develop the relationship between alumni and the college.
- To provide alumni mentoring programmes for students, with a focus on technical help and career counseling.
- To establish an alumni fund to assist student ventures and scholarship opportunities.
- To provide a forum for batch reunions and other celebrations.
- To create a comprehensive, secure alumni database to enable personal and professional connections among members.
Responsibilities:
- To maintain the Alumni data base.
- To look into the smooth conduction of alumni association activities.
Associated Activities:
- The alumni cell organize alumni meet.
- The alumni cell conducts guest talks and alumni interaction (Alumni mentoring) by prominent alumni of respective departments.
Procedure:
- The member Secretary, in consultation with the Chairman of the Committee, shall prepare a provisional agenda for meeting.
- It shall be circulated to all Members of the Committee two days before meeting.
- All the decisions should be taken on the basis of majority.
- After the meeting, the Committee shall approve a report embodying its views, recommendations and decisions.
- Maintain records of the committee in a separate file with supporting documents (notice/photos/ Statistical data /minutes of meeting).
