Induction of IEEE Student Branch 2025

Department of Electronics and Communication hosted the Induction function of IEEE Student Branch-2K25 on April 28, 2025 at AITM. The event marked a significant milestone in fostering technological excellence and innovation among students. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. Virupaxi Dalal, Chair Elect IEEE NKSS, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Dr. Aravind Jadhav, Associate Professor and IEEE Branch Counsellor, Dr. Sriram Kulkarni, HOD of ECE Department, Ms. Tejaswini Y. IEEE Student Chair, Deans and HODs of various departments were present during the event. Dr. Aravind Jadhav welcomed the gathering and discussed about IEEE Student Branch and its importance for the students.

AITM IEEE Student Branch Organizes Two-Day Webinar Series on “Intelligent Transportation Systems”
The IEEE Student Branch of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, successfully organized a two-day webinar series titled “Intelligent Transportation Systems” on May 9th and 10th, 2025. The primary objective of the series was to educate and engage participants in emerging technologies, trends, and innovations that are shaping the future of transportation systems.
The event provided a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange, featuring expert-led sessions that delved into critical areas such as connected and autonomous vehicles, smart traffic management, real-time data analytics, cybersecurity, and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS).

Udupi, Professor, EEE, AITM, spoke on “VANETs”, Mr. Gajendra Deshpande, Founder and Managing Director, Eyesec Solutions, addressed “Cybersecurity in ITS”, Mr. MininathNighot, Lead Data Scientist, Process Point Technologies Corporation, Hyderabad, presented on the topic “ Sensor Technologies in ITS”, Mrs. Sonam Bhandurge, Assistant Professor, CSE, AITM, elaborated on the “Role of Generative AI in ITS”, Mr. Shithanshu Mishra, Senior Software Engineer, Beltech AI, shared insights on “ITS for Sustainable Smart Cities”, Mr. Sambram Arkasali, AI Engineer, Rakuten, explored “Advanced Technologies in ITS” and Mrs. Geeta Phatak, Data Scientist, Broadridge, presented on “ITS for Electric Vehicles.”
