Robotics International Hackathon in collaboration with Wefaa Robotics- Singapore
Robotics International Hackathon was conducted for the students at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), in collaboration with Wefaa Robotics, Singapore on November 14, 2024. The event garnered an overwhelming response, drawing enthusiastic participants from various disciplines. Participants showcased their groundbreaking ideas, demonstrated exceptional technical prowess, and worked in dynamic teams to push the boundaries of robotics and automation.
Soft Skills Training Program at AITM
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, proudly inaugurated the Soft Skills Training Program, a new initiative dedicated to enhancing essential workplace competencies among female students. Organized in association with the Aspire Her Foundation, AITM’s Women’s Cell, and the Training and Placement Cell, the event took place on 11th November 2024. This collaborative program also saw the involvement of Peacefic Technology, Pune, and Theta Dynamics Pvt. Ltd., Belagavi. This launch marks the beginning of a series of skill-building sessions aimed at preparing students for a dynamic job market, underscoring AITM’s commitment to holistic student development.
Awareness Session on SKILL LAB
In an ever-evolving world, academic knowledge alone is no longer sufficient to thrive in today’s competitive job market. Employers seek graduates who possess a wide array of practical skills, including effective communication, critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability. Recognizing this need, AITM took a progressive step by organizing an Awareness Session on SKILL LAB by Prof. Vishalkirthi Patil, AITM Skill Lab In-charge and TPO, AITM. This transformative program aimed to bridge the gap between academia and the real world by equipping students with essential life skills for personal and professional growth.
Aptitude Training Program
An Aptitude Training Program was conducted for the 3rd Semester students of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management -AITM, Belagavi under the banner of AITM Skill Lab from 9th to 11th March 2023. The Aptitude Training Program commenced with the conduction of pre- assessment test for all the students followed by 3 Days rigourous Training on Aptitude and concluded with the post- assessment test. The Aptitude Training and Tests are conducted to determine the capability of a student in variety of Subjects. By providing the appropriate training, an individual may determine the careers that are a good match for their skills and interests.
Robo Yatra Seminar on Robotics
AITM Skill Lab has organized “Robo Yatra-seminar on Robotics” by Holoworld on 5th January 2023. The key speakers for the session were Mr. Thotreingam Kasar, Chief Research Officer, Mr. Prashanth PS, Vice President, and Mr. Deepak. The topics covered are – Introduction to Robotics, Demo of Flagship product “HOLOSUIT”, BYOR demo, Humanoid Experience, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality experience.
