On field Model presentation on Renewable Energy Sources was conducted for First Year students of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management -AITM, Belagavi on 14th December 2022.
Prof. Kantesh D. C, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Electronics Department briefed the students about the renewable energy sources and Solar Panels.
Solar panels harness sunlight to generate electricity. So, they pose fewer pollution risks to the Environment in comparison to conventional sources of energy. AITM provides state of the art infrastructure with an Eco-Friendly and Sustainable Energy Resources.
AITM is the first institute in North Karnataka to adopt Rooftop Solar Powerplant with area of installation of 60,000 sqft. Generation capacity of the Solar Powerplant is 300 KW, contributing significantly to the Renewable Energy.
