Inauguration of Association of Computer Engineers- ACE-2K23
The Inaugural ceremony of the Association of Computer Engineers (ACE-2K23) was held on 01st February 2023. Dr. D. H. Rao, Professor and Academic Advisor, AITM was the chief guest, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director of AITM, Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni, Head of Department, CSE, Prof. Gautam Dematti, Association coordinator, Mr. Vikas and Miss Nikita, Student ACE coordinators presided the function.
The event marked the onset of the departmental activities and also the Fresher’s day of the 3rd-semester students of the 2023 batch. Head of the department, Prof. Dhanashree Kulkarni commenced the event with a welcome speech followed by the introduction of the chief guest by Miss Shirley.
Dr. D. H. Rao Sir motivated the students to follow their passion, dream and have the will to achieve them, which is the key to success.
Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal and Director, AITM addressed the students and motivated them to participate in co-curricular activities conducted by the department which shall help the students to gain various skills and get out of their comfort zone. The events will help students to explore their technical skills, showcase their talent in cultural and technical events and boost their confidence, communication and interpersonal skills.
The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Miss Cassandra. The event was graced by all Deans, HOD’s and staff of AITM.
