Happy Kannada Rajyotsava 2023 !!
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management – AITM, Belagavi, a hub of academic excellence and cultural diversity, illuminated its campus with the vibrant colors of Karnataka’s heritage as it celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with fervor and enthusiasm on November 1, 2023 in the campus.
The 68th Karnataka Formation Day, celebrated as Kannada Rajyotsava, is a significant occasion in the history of the state. AITM, true to its commitment to fostering cultural understanding and harmony, orchestrated a memorable celebration that showcased the rich cultural tapestry of Karnataka.
The event was presided over by Dr. Spoorti Patil, Director, SAEF, Shri Raju Joshi, Administrator, SAEF, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Dr. SuryaKumar Khanai, Director, MBA, Prof. H. S. Patil, Principal, ASA, Dean’s, HOD’s, staff and students of AITM.
All the dignitaries paid floral tribute to Bhuvaneshwari Devi & seeked the blessings of the divine goddess. Various performances by students were organized during the event.
Prof. Sadanand Doddmani delivered a splendid speech on the occasion. Students captivated the audience with traditional folk dances, melodious songs, and a theatrical performance that narrated the state’s historical journey. The vibrant costumes and dynamic performances reflected the essence of Karnataka.
In his address, Dr. Anand Deshpande, the Principal & Director of AITM, emphasized the importance of cultural celebrations in an educational institution. “Our aim is not just to impart knowledge but also to foster an environment where students can appreciate and embrace the diversity of our country. Kannada Rajyotsava is a reminder that our culture is a treasure that we must protect and promote,” he said.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Gautam Dematti, Cultural Coordinator, AITM and the master of ceremony was Prof. Manjushree H.
