Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belgavi, organized a significant event under the auspices of its Women Cell dedicated to Women’s Health and Wellbeing. Held on 03/07/2024 at Seminar Hall, the event aimed to educate, empower, and inspire women to prioritize their health and wellbeing.
The function was presided over by Dr. Varsha R Sathe Dental Surgeon and Director, Dr. Sathe’s Occlusion Multispecialty Dental Clinic, Mrs. Trupati , Dr. Dhanshree Kulkarni HoD of computer science Engineering Department and Dean Academic of AITM , Miss. Vinayachandrika Kale Women Cell Coordinator, AITM.
The Resource Person Dr. Varsha R Sathe have shared a informative sessions by healthcare professionals and experts in women’s health. Topics covered included reproductive health, menstrual hygiene, nutrition, mental wellness, and preventive healthcare measures. These sessions provided attendees with valuable insights and practical advice.
The event also featured awareness campaigns on critical health issues affecting women, such as breast cancer awareness, cervical health, and maternal health. These campaigns aimed to educate attendees and encourage proactive health screenings and awareness.
The Women’s Health and Wellbeing Event by AITM Belgavi’s Women Cell was a resounding success in promoting awareness, education, and empowerment among women. The Master of Ceremony was done by Miss Pruthvi Sakri 4th semester Student of EEE department and The event began with a warm welcome to the guests. Miss. Vinayachandrika.
