Guest Talk on “Challenges and Prospects of Entrepreneurs” and “Emotional Intelligence and Effective Leadership”.
Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Angadi Institute of Technology & Management -AITM, Belagavi conducted a Guest Talk on “Challenges and Prospects of Entrepreneurs” by Dr. Suryakumar N. Khanai, Director MBA, AITM on 13.12.2022 and “Emotional intelligence and Effective Leadership” by Dr. Shankargouda Bharamanaikar, Professor, Department of MBA, VTU, Belagavi on 14.12.2022 for the students of AI&DS and CSE.
Dr. Suryakumar N. Khanai, Director MBA, AITM briefed about how an Entrepreneur is commonly an innovator — a designer of new ideas and business processes and Management skills and strong team building abilities are often perceived as essential leadership attributes for successful entrepreneur.
Sir also briefed students about the Challenges of entrepreneurs, Cash flow management, Hiring employees, Time management, Delegating tasks, choosing what to sell, Marketing strategy, raising capital, strapped budget, Business growth, Self doubt etc.
Dr. Shankargouda Bharamanaikar, Professor, Department of MBA, VTU, Belagavi explained as to how Emotional intelligence refers to the ability to perceive, control, and evaluate emotions and about Effective leadership: leadership is “to lead a group of people or an organization.” But it’s not as simple as that. Leaders throughout every rung of the organization ladder are integral to the overall success of the business.
