Dr. Spoorti Patil, Director, Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF), Belagavi also Chairperson, Industry & Institute Committee, CII and Prof. Vishalkirthi Patil, Placement Officer, AITM visited Hindalco Industries Limited’s facility in Belagavi to witness firsthand their remarkable sustainability journey on 13.09.2023.
Hindalco, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, is renowned for its commitment to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and sustainable business practices. The visit was a testament to their unwavering dedication to sustainability through Zero Liquid Discharge, Vegetation on Red Mud, Clean Fuel, Waste Utilization, Use of Bio mass for power generation, Concepts of Circular Economy and many more initiatives.
During the visit, it was an opportunity to engage with the senior management team and tour the state-of-the-art facility.
