Experiential Learning for First Year Engineering Students by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) @ Angadi Institute of Technology and Management- AITM, Belagavi.
Experiential learning is an engaged learning process whereby students “learn by doing” and by reflecting on the practical experience. Experiential learning activities can include, but are not limited to, hands-on laboratory experiments, internships, practicum’s, field exercises, etc.
By following this concept the students of First year Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) visited the Electrical & Electronics Laboratory, Dept. of EEE, AITM, Belagavi and Prof. Rajendra Ghivari, Dept. of EEE explained students the concept of difference between single phase and three phase supply on the main electrical meter board and also measuring the single phase and three phase voltage by using multi meter.
Sir also demonstrated an experiment on two way and three way control of lamp were students had opportunity to conduct the experiment and understand how a lamp can be controlled by two way switch and three way switches.
Students were explored to all the electrical machines such as DC motor, Alternator, Transformer, AC & DC measuring instruments present in the lab.
