An Orientation Programme was conducted for the First-year engineering students of Angadi Institute of Technology and Management-AITM, Belagavi on 12th October 2023. The aim of this event was to introduce the students to the academic, cultural, and extracurricular aspects of their college life, and to help them transition smoothly into their new environment.
Dr. T. N. Sreenivasa, Registrar(Evaluation), VTU, Belagavi was the chief guest of the event and the program was presided by Smt. Mangal Angadi , Member of Parliament, Chairperson, SAEF, Dr. Spoorti R. Patil, Director, SAEF, Shri. Raju Joshi, Administrator, SAEF, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal and Director, AITM and Prof. H. S. Patil, Principal, ASA.
The orientation programme began with an extended warm welcome to the incoming batch where the dignitaries highlighted the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development, encouraged the students to make the most of their college experience and to aim for excellence in all their endeavors.
The first-year engineering students left the orientation programme with a better understanding of what to expect in the coming years and with a sense of belonging to their new academic community.
