Women’s cell of Angadi institute of Technology and Management- AITM, Belagavi visited Chaya Pratisthan’s Gharkul (A Home & Hope for aged people) on 24th June 2023. Dr. Spoorti Angadi Patil, Director, Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF) interacted with the elderly residents who shared their experiences. Gharkul is a reliable support companion of love and affection, comfort and homely for all elders. Lady staff of AITM along with student coordinators visited Gharkul and interacted with the aged people. The entire team could feel the challenges the elderly people face and how this ashram is trying to make their life comfortable. The staff members were friendly and dedicated, ensuring that the residents felt valued and cared for. It was indeed and enriching experience. Our Management contributed from their end to support this ashram.
