“Two Days Hands-On Workshop on Cyber Security”
13th and 14th June 2023
Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SAEF’s, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Savagaon Road, Belagavi, Karnataka successfully organized a “Two Days Hands-On Workshop on Cyber Security” under the banner of Computer Society of India (CSI) from 13th to 14th June 2023.
The valedictory function for the same was organized on 14th June 2023 in the presence of the resource person Shri Gajendra Deshpande, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE, AITM and Mr. Pradosh Hegde, Director, Eyesec Cyber Security Solutions, Pvt. Ltd. The function was presided by Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal and Director, AITM, Mrs. Dhanashree Kulkarni, HOD, CSE and Prof. Manjunath Patil, Workshop Coordinator.
Shri Gajendra Deshpande advised the students to stay up to date with the latest cyber security news and trends and make sure you are implementing adequate cyber security measures in your organization using suitable hardware and software. Avoid the risks of phishing attacks by adhering to ethical security behavior, understand the legal requirements, privacy policies, and auditing process of your cloud environment. Mr. Pradosh Hegde addressed the opportunities in cyber security as Cybersecurity is vital for career roles such as penetration tester, cybersecurity analyst, network analyst, cybersecurity auditor, cybersecurity architect, forensics investigator, and many more.
The Master of Ceremony was Mrs. Avanti Patil, Assistant Professor, Dept. of CSE and the event concluded with the Vote of thanks by Miss. Rekha Saboji, CSI coordinator, AITM.
