Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Angadi Institute of Technology and management-AITM, Belagavi organized a dual-purpose visit to Yellur as part of their AICTE activity on the “Importance of Cleanliness” and “Promoting Tourism in our Town.” The event aimed to promote tourism in the town while emphasizing the importance of cleanliness for sustainable development.
AITM College recognizes the importance of tourism in contributing to the economic growth of the region and believes that promoting local attractions can lead to the overall development of the town. The college aims to use the findings to develop a comprehensive plan for promoting tourism in Yellur while ensuring the preservation of its cultural and natural heritage.
Students raised awareness about the significance of cleanliness in promoting tourism and ensuring a healthy community. Students also interacted with the people to Foster a sense of responsibility among community members for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
