“Connecting with YOGA is about connecting with happiness, health, peace and prosperity.” The age-old practice of yoga which originated in India is now being recognised and embraced throughout the world. It keeps not only physique but also mind and spirit in balance. Recognizing its universal appeal, the whole world now celebrates it as ‘International Yoga Day’ on 21st June every year.
International Yoga Day was celebrated at Suresh Angadi Education Foundation (SAEF) with full zest and enthusiasm. The program was graced by the presence of Smt. Mangal Angadi, Member of Parliament and Chairperson, SAEF, Shri. Raju Joshi, Administrator, SAEF, Dr. Anand B. Deshpande, Principal & Director, AITM, Ar. H.S Patil, Principal, ASA, Smt. Sangeeta Desai, Principal, AIS, students and staff of SAEF. Everyone participated actively in the event where varied yoga asanas were performed spreading a positive aura. Mr. Vishant Damone and Mr. Mahadev Shirgaonkar, Physical Director’s, SAEF guided the audience during the event.
