Industrial Visit

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), Belagavi, took a significant initiative by organizing an industrial visit for the 3rd and 5th-semester students to Orion Hydraulics Pvt Ltd on the 22nd of February 2024.

The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into the functioning of a prominent industrial setup. The students had the opportunity to explore various sections of the industry, including the Machining section, Fabrication section, Assembly section, and the Packing & Dispatch section.

 

During the visit, the students were guided by experienced professionals from Orion Hydraulics, who shared valuable information about the industrial processes involved in transforming raw materials into finished products, enhancing the students’ understanding of real-world applications in the field of mechanical engineering.

 

Accompanying the students were faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department, AITM Belagavi. Mr. Raju N Patil, Mr. Suneel Nagavi, and Mr. Rahul Sheri, Assistant Professors, played a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and informative experience for the students.

AITM Belagavi continues to foster a holistic learning environment by actively engaging students in such hands-on experiences, promoting a seamless integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application.
