Objectives:
- To encourage entrepreneurial culture amongst students.
- To educate the members on incentives offered by various financial agencies for promoting entrepreneurship.
- To promote creative thinking that helps to build innovative ideas for entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities:
- To bring successful entrepreneur and students on a common platform.
- To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
- To make the students aware about the qualities and skills required to become an entrepreneur.
Associated Activities:
- Organising guest lectures by entrepreneurs of different sectors.
- Organising competitions on entrepreneurship activities like B-Plan and New Product Development.
- Organising industrial visits for students to gain knowledge on practical working of an enterprise.
Procedure:
- The member Secretary, in consultation with the Chairman of the Committee, shall prepare a provisional agenda for meeting.
- It shall be circulated to all Members of the Committee two days before meeting.
- All the decisions should be taken on the basis of discussion and social aspects.
- After the meeting, the Committee shall approve a report embodying its views, recommendations and decisions.
- Maintain records of the committee in a separate file with supporting documents (notice/photos/Statistical data /minutes of meeting).
