Ambedkar Jayanti Celebrated at AITM on 14.04.2024
Angadi Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) observed the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, fondly known as Ambedkar Jayanti, on April 14, 2024, with great reverence. The occasion marked a tribute to the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and an eminent social reformer.
The celebration commenced with floral tributes paid to the portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar by the faculty, staff, and students of AITM, reflecting their deep respect and admiration for his contributions to the nation.
The event was graced by Dr. Anand Despande, Principal & Director of AITM, Prof. Sagar Birje, HOD, Department of AI & DS, staff and students of AITM.
In his address, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director of AITM, highlighted the significance of Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals of social justice, equality, and empowerment, emphasizing their relevance in contemporary society. Sir stressed the need for continued efforts to uphold the principles enshrined in the Constitution and to work towards the welfare of marginalized sections of society.
AITM reaffirmed its commitment to promoting inclusive education and creating a conducive environment for the holistic development of all its stakeholders.
The celebration of Ambedkar Jayanti at AITM not only honored the legacy of a visionary leader but also served as a platform to inspire the youth to actively contribute to nation-building and social transformation, in line with the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
