“Abhyudaya” the inauguration ceremony of the Association of Civil Engineering Students and welcoming of freshers, was held by the Department of Civil Engineering, Angadi Institute of Technology and Management -AITM, Belagavi on Tuesday 26th December 2023.
The occasion marks the commencement of association activities along with welcoming the 2023-2024 batch students to the department. Dr. Anand Deshpande, Principal & Director of AITM, Dr. G. S. Manjunatha, Head of Civil Engineering Department, Prof. Gopal V. Surapalli, Association coordinator, Mr. Prasad Shirkol and Miss. Shruthi Kamble, Student coordinators presided over the function.
The inaugural ceremony began with an invocation song and lamp lighting, followed by welcoming the gathering by Dr. G. S. Manjunatha.
Dr. G. S. Manjunatha addressed the students and stressed the association and its activities, he also welcomed the 3rd semester students to the Department of civil engineering. Prof. Gopal Surapalli presented the association activity report for the year 2022-2023. Dr. Anand Deshpande presented the presidential remarks and urged the students to address the societal issues.
